HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure) is a secure version of this protocol. They use the “code” on a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), sometimes called Transport Layer Security (TLS) to send the information back and forth. HTTPS is port 443 for communication. It sends and receive data in encrypted form between client and host server to protect the data information from the hacker. For HTTPS, SSL certificate is required.
